It offers a variety of innovative stowage and storage options for the interior and luggage compartment to makes room for everything that you want to take with you. The rear seats fold down automatically at the touch of a button to treble the load volume in seconds and allow you to store even bulky items. The innovative anti-slip rails on the floor of the boot allow even heavy luggarge to be stowed securely: They rise fully automatically when you set off and fasten the luggage in position. And thanks to the innovative Comfort access system, a brief movement of the foot below the rear bumper is all it takes to trigger the opening and closing of the tailgate. In laser high-beam mode, the Adaptive BMW Laserlight illuminates a range of up to 530 m, nearly twice as far as that of conventional headlights. Comfort access system.

The Comfort access system makes it possible to open all of the vehicle doors and the luggage compartment, without using the key. When approaching, the welcome greeting is activated even before the doors unlock automatically. The anti-slip rails on the luggage compartment floor significantly reduce the risk of heavy items of luggage slipping during the journey. The rubber rails are lifted slightly upwards automatically when the boot is closed and when the vehicle is started.

The Storage compartment package includes a hinged compartment on the driver's side of the instrument panel, nets on the back of the front-seat backrests, as well as two USB ports with charging function in the rear centre console. The Through-loading system includes rear seat backrests that can be divided in a 40:20:40 ratio for the greatest possible flexibility. Traction is optimised with the help of an electronically operated device that reduces the difference in revolution speed between the rear wheels.

M SPORT BRAKE.

The M Sport brake has four-piston fixed callipers at the front and single-piston floating callipers at the rear in blue with the M designation and features large brake discs to ensure an outstanding braking performance.

ADAPTIVE M SUSPENSION.

The 10 millimetre lowered Adaptive M suspension can be electrically adjusted at any time to suit the road and driving conditions.     The vehicle can be conveniently charged at home
    at a special wallbox or with the specially designed charging cable supplied,
    for a full battery within approximately 02:50 (Wallbox) to 04:30 hours
    (domestic power socket). The vehicle’s charging port is protected from the
    elements behind a flap on the front left side panel.

  • Charging in public

    The CHARGE NOW mobility service enables the driver to charge in a simple, convenient and safe way at public charging stations. With the help of the CHARGE NOW website, the CHARGE NOW app or even directly via the navigation system, drivers can find suitable charging stations in their own country or abroad. Cashless access to charging stations via the CHARGE NOW card or app authentication with monthly billing makes charging seamless and user-friendly.

    In eDrive drive, the drive modes HYBRID, ELECTRIC, and BATTERY CONTROL can be selected using specific control buttons.
